How to care for your real hair product
DO's
1.
Detangle your hair, starting from the ends to roots using our extension brush or a wide-tooth comb before washing.
2.
Carefully follow the instructions from your trained extension specialist for the products to use for your after-care
3.
When shampooing your hair, work vertically not horizontally, or in a circular motion, this will create fewer tangles, and your hair will be easier to manage.
4.
After washing gently pat with a towel and spray in the recommended detangling spray then use a wide-tooth comb or detangling brush starting from the ends to roots
5.
Use the heat protector recommended by your extension specialist.
6.
Before bed put your hair in a loose braid to avoid tangling in the morning.
7.
Before swimming in a pool or the sea it is best to rinse your hair first with water and apply conditioner to the extensions. Put your hair in a loose braid (never in a bun) and rinse immediately when finished.
8.
Always cover your hair when in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
9.

DON'T's
1.
Don’t attempt to maintain or adjust your Au-Parri yourself. If you have any issues, leave it to the professionals.
2.
Don't apply conditioner, styling products or excessive heat to the bonded areas as it will compromise the bonds
3.
Never leave hair to dry naturally, dry the hair in sections using a large brush and after, if desired, use a straightening iron.
4.
Don’t use any hot tools on your Au-Parri extensions without using Au-Parri heat protection product. Comb through your hair to ensure the product is evenly distributed throughout providing protection everywhere.
5.
Don’t allow bronzers, fake tans, sun creams or products with tint in them to make contact with your hair extensions, especially for blond hair, as you may experience slight colour change. If this does happen don't worry! It's easily rectified. Contact us through email or call and we will talk you through the process to solve this problem.
6.
We do not advise colouring of the hair as this may compromise the quality of the hair.

How to care for your synthetic hair product
1.
Wash and leave to air dry
2.
Straightening - only use up to 180 degrees
3.
Curling - only use up to 180 degrees (do not use straighteners for curling)

The best way to store our Synthetic pieces -
After wearing brush from the bottom up with our hair extension brush, apply a small amount of Argan oil and store in our hairdrobe to hang and protect until your next wear.
